The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
