Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
